What is REGENERATIVE MEDICINE

An ever-expanding interdisciplinary field of research and clinical applications, focused on repair and regeneration of cells, tissues, and organs, altered for any reason, in order to restore their integrity and their functionality.

In fact, the purpose is not to change, or replace what no longer works, but to provide the necessary elements for tissue repair, through vehicles able to fuse with the body to stimulate and support its intrinsic capacity to regenerate and heal itself.

It aims at well-being and equilibrium, to soften the physiological aging process, able sometimes not only to be slowed down, or blocked, but also reversed; this through the use, by means of high technologies, of substances already present in our body, such as growth factors, stem cells and nowadays also just with their mediators, the exosomes.

It represents the present and the future of medicine in general, and the new frontier also in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine, which increasingly tends toward a minimally invasive and natural approach, following a new awareness of the concept of beauty.

IN AESTHETIC PLASTIC & RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY

Regenerative surgery is applied in a wide scope ranging from the physiological aging process (consisting of the progressive alteration of the trophism of the skin, subcutaneous, adipose, muscular and bone tissue that results in a loss of volume making the skin subject to the effects of gravity and making the anatomical structures underneath it more evident), to baldness and alopecias and the most common hair disorders, through the use of the most modern trichological therapies up to autologous hair transplantation supported to the maximum by regenerative elements, to subjects with severe acute and chronic injuries who will be able to avoid major interventions with their complications.
